Deputies said several bullets were fired at several homes in the neighborhood. The teen was inside one of the homes, she was hit in the upper body by a bullet.
The girl was airlifted to a Fresno hospital. She was released from the hospital late Thursday night.
The shooting shocked the community. "It's so scary. I have four kids. And we're a close community. When one of us is hurt we all feel it," said neighbor Christine Barba.
Tulare County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a dark colored pickup that witnesses reported on the street before the shooting.
