Fresno, CA The city wants a $30 thousand dollar check by 5:00 p.m. Friday ... $20 thousand toward unpaid past due utilities and a $10 thousand dollar bond for unfinished work.

As the clock ticks, the sanding and painting has an increased sense of urgency.

Kirk Vartanian said, "It's just like home edition. We're doing everything we can to finish which it's gonna happen."

City building inspectors showed up Thursday morning to make sure the final requests are being taken care of. A few minor details remain on the "to do" list.

Jerry Bishop said, "I don't have any concerns that I can see. We've still got a couple of issues to work through. Emergency lighting test that failed, some things of that nature but he appears to be on track for possibly opening."

Although the building is still empty and the bar is un-stocked ... it won't be for long.

"The furniture is on the way. The TV's and set up the liquor and the wine cellar and we're done," said Vartanian.

Ticket prices for opening night have been reduced to $25 dollars for the first 500 people in line.

Vartanian is promising a first class club with celebrity Kim Kardashian on hand Friday night to get the party started.

"The night to remember in Fresno. You will not see anything like this in Fresno history," said Vartanian.
