Schwarzenegger to Sign Water Bill in Fresno County

FRESNO, Calif. The governor has already signed a couple parts of the five-piece bill, but he'll be at Friant Dam this afternoon to sign a portion of the bill written by Modesto Republican Dave Cogdill.

The measure calls for more dams to be built, including one in Eastern Fresno County. The plan also includes groundwater cleanup, conservation, and habitat restoration to the San Joaquin Delta.

Voters still have to approve the bond measure to fund all these projects.
