This came after several other rain related accidents throughout the Fresno area. Street flooding was a problem in Merced ... and gusty winds toppled trees in Downtown Fresno, and at a park adjacent to the Fresno Art Museum.

Early in the day a big tree fell in a Clovis yard ... barely missing Margaret Franco's home. She heard it fall. "I was in the bedroom and I heard a boom! And my neighbor too. My neighbor heard it so it had to be loud."

Lightning hit a tree near the Fresno Pacific University Campus, branches hit a power line and left the campus without electricity for about an hour.

Another outage affected three thousand customers and four schools in southeast Fresno Tuesday morning.

There was no damage, but disappointment when the Grizzlies game was rained out at Chukchansi Park. Lennell Earl brought his family out to see the game. "We had the best seats in the house ... and we had to cancel the game because of the rain. But we will return."

The scheduled game with Reno could be made up Wednesday, doubleheader is planned for Thursday.
