A driver's misstep sent a car plowing into a local business.

Police say a Dodge Neon left a hole in the store front at the "China To Go" restaurant at Fowler and Ashlan in Clovis. Authorities say the driver stepped on the accelerator instead of the brake while trying to park.

Several people were inside the restaurant when the accident happened. One person suffered a minor hand injury. The driver was taken by ambulance to Clovis Community Hospital for observation.

Part of the adjacent storefront was also damaged by the crash.
