Coalinga man accused of sexual battery in public areas

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Coalinga Police said they arrested 24-year-old David Zaragoza after he was identified by a victim.

Police said the arrest was the result of an investigation that lasted several months in which several victims reported a man grabbed their "intimate parts" while they were walking or exercising in public areas. They said the most recent incident occurred last Thursday on Polk Street, near Fresno Street in Coalinga. That victim was able to identify Zaragoza.

Detectives believe Zaragoza may be responsible for other similar cases. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Coalinga Police Department at (559) 935-1525.
