Shooting outside Central Fresno apartment leaves man dead

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man died Saturday afternoon after he was shot outside an apartment complex in Central Fresno, police say.

The shooting happened near San Pablo and Vassar Avenues around 6:30 p.m. Police say a Hispanic man in his 40s was shot in the upper body after an argument with another group.

The victim was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center where he later died.

No arrests have been made and detectives are still gathering suspect information

The identity of the victim has not been released.
