Gunman sought in deadly Central Fresno shooting

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Authorities are searching for a gunman in a deadly late-night shooting in Central Fresno.

Fresno police were called to North San Pablo Avenue near East Belmont Avenue shortly after 10 p.m. Wednesday after a report of gunshots. Officers found a 25-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds in an apartment complex walkway. He died at the scene.

It is unknown if the man lived at the complex. Investigators are now working with witnesses to figure out a motive for the shooting and a description of the shooter.
