Man shot inside Southwest Fresno market

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man is in critical condition after being shot Saturday evening inside a Southwest Fresno Market.

Police responded around 5 p.m. to a shooting at Kearney Market at Kearney Boulevard and Modoc Street, near Chandler Municipal Airport. Authorities say a dispute between two men inside the market escalated into violence ending with one shot and the suspect fleeing the scene.

The suspect remains at large. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Fresno Police Department.
