Southeast Fresno park reopens after makeover
Al Radka Park reopened Saturday morning after a renovation lasting a few months.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The makeover at a southeast Fresno park seems to be a homerun.

Al Radka Park reopened Saturday morning after a renovation lasting a few months.

The fencing is new, the scoreboard got repaired, the infield grass is fresh and the pitcher's mound is newly installed.

It'll all be ready for a big season of the Sunnyside little league, making it possible to add 100 extra kids next year.

The Central California Baseball Academy stepped to the plate to fix up the fields as part of the city's Adopt-a-Park program.
