Fresno County supervisor Henry Perea to run for mayor

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno County supervisor Henry Perea will run for mayor of Fresno.

Perea is currently serving his third term as supervisor. Perea also served on the Fresno City Council and the Fresno County Board of Education.

His son former Fresno assemblyman Henry T. Perea ran for mayor in 2008 but lost the election to Ashley Swearengin.

Perea is the third person to declare his candidacy.

Current council member Lee Brand and pastor and community activist H Spees are also running.
