3 Con-way truck drivers recognized for driving millions of safe miles

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Three local truck drivers got a break from their day-to-day to be recognized for their hard work over the years.

Wednesday morning, Con-way Freight presented three awards to employees who have driven 1 million miles or more -- accident free. Over the company's 30-year history, almost 1,700 Con-way drivers have achieved this goal.

At the ceremony, Antonio Vargas reached the 1 million-mile mark, Greg Grigsby was honored for hitting 2 million, and Larry painter -- a 28-year employee -- received a $2,000 check for joining the 3 million mile distinguished driver club.
