Charlie Waters honored for hard work and dedication on behalf of veterans

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Military veteran and community activist Charlie Waters is well known for his hard work on behalf of Fresno and the Central Valley -- especially all he has done at the new Fresno veterans home and for veterans' issues.

A tribute to Charlie Waters was unveiled at a surprise ceremony at the Veterans Home of California - Fresno. Federal, state, and local officials were on hand -- as well as more than 200 veterans and members of the community as a bronze sculpture of Waters was unveiled in the front lobby of the Home.
