Taco Truck Throwdown returns to Chukchansi Park
The Fresno Grizzlies are bringing back their annual Taco Truck Throwdown, showcasing some of the Valley's best street tacos.
This Thursday the Fresno Grizzlies will officially take the field as the Fresno tacos.
On the night of the Taco Truck Throwdown, the team will wear taco theme hats and jerseys. Organizers hope the new jerseys will attract fans to watch the game while eating tacos.
Last year more than 13-thousand people came out for the annual event, and they ate 27-thousand tacos. This year's event will feature nearly 20 taco trucks from all over the Valley -- and the public will get to choose their favorite.
The Taco Truck Throwdown is this Thursday, August 6th. The Grizzlies will take on the Sacramento River Cats. Game time is 7:05 p.m. at Chukchansi Park.
