2 wanted in Northwest Fresno supermarket bank robbery

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Authorities are looking for two people responsible for a bank robbery in Northwest Fresno on Monday morning. They got away with cash taken from a Union Bank branch inside a Save Mart Supermarket at Herndon and Marks avenues.

Witnesses say a man wearing a mask went inside the bank and threatened the teller with a gun. It's unclear how much cash he took, but witnesses told Fresno police the gunman got away in a charcoal gray-colored van driven by another man, who was also wearing a mask. No one was hurt in the holdup.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Fresno Police Department at (559) 621-7000.
