Homeless get special Christmas dinner
For 30 years, Bread of Life Ministries has put on dinner in the park serving the city's homeless every Wednesday rain or shine.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A special Christmas dinner was held Wednesday for the homeless in central Fresno.

For 30 years, Bread of Life Ministries has put on dinner in the park serving the city's homeless every Wednesday rain or shine. With the help of volunteers and church members, the group cooked up a large holiday meal.

And through generous donations organizers passed out toys and clothes to those in need. "We're just blessed, we're really just blessed, " organizer Patricia Rivera said. "We love that the people love our homeless so much that they're willing to go out of their way to bless us. So we can bless them."

The group expected to serve more than 400 people.
