Suspect climbs on roof after police chase in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man is under arrest, after leading nearly a dozen officers on a chase through Fresno in a stolen car.

The suspect tried to escape from Fresno Police, Fresno County Sheriff's Deputies, and the Highway Patrol by climbing onto the roof of a business complex at Palm and Olive. Deputies say he got there, after leading them on a chase across town. Officers laid out a spike strip to take the air out of his tires. They used a ladder to convince him to come down and take him into custody.
