FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Thousands of former addicts celebrated their recovery and finding new ways to promote a drug free lifestyle.
The annual Sober Stock recovery event filled the parking spaces of Manchester Center Saturday afternoon. It's part of a series of events taking place across the country for National Recovery Month.
The event included a car, bike and truck show -- all while local non-profit organizations, like Feed my Sheep Ministries, were promoting their missions.
"To promote drug free lifestyle and to also send a message to the community that we don't have to use drugs to be cool," said Pastor Bruce Hood, Feed My Sheep Ministries.
This is the tenth year in a row thousands of people have come together for this event.
