Man shot in lower back in Northwest Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man is recovering in the hospital, officials say, after a shooting in Northwest Fresno on Sunday. Fresno police say a 25-year-old man was shot in the lower back near Shaw and Lola avenues.

The man had been arguing with someone a few miles away before the shooting, according to police. The victim was taken to Community Regional Medical Center and is expected to survive.
