Nic Garcia
Nic Garcia joined the ABC30 Action News team in September of 2021.

He came to Fresno from El Paso, Texas, where he spent two years as the breaking news anchor. While in El Paso, Nic covered everything from the aftermath of the Walmart shooting in 2019 to Vice President Kamala Harris' first official visit to the southern border.

Before that, Nic worked in Montana as a reporter, where he covered blizzards, avalanches, and several visits to the state by former President Donald Trump.

Nic is a proud graduate of California State University, Fullerton, where he studied Broadcast Journalism and minored in Political Science. He is an active member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ).

Nic grew up in Riverside, and after a few years away, he's happy to be back in the Golden State.

When he's not on TV bringing you the news, you can find Nic cooking - or eating! He also enjoys trying new coffee shops and spending time with his family.
